Hi Folks,
Welcome to our blog. It was just last April that I didn't even know what a blog was. Now all you computer savy people can laugh it up, but some of us just don't know the lingo. Daylin and I are are writing this blog together on our trip through Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand, but before we head out I thought I would provide everybody with some background.
Daylin is currently hanging out in Peachland and I am chillin' in sunny Victoria. I just finished school a week ago and I am bored already. I am almost finished my degree in Anthropology (three more classes) and then on to grad school! So this trip is a much needed break and treat to ourselves for all of our hard work. The trip is also part of our plan to delay our re-entry into the real world, which we hear is a scary place full of paper work.
So... we will be flying into Hanoi and working our way down the coast of Vietnam to Saigon. From Saigon we will be heading to Phnom Penh and then to the temples of Angkor in Siem Reap. From Siem Reap we will make a quick stop in Bangkok and fly to Ko pha ngan for the full moon party and then spend the rest of the time island hopping in southern Thailand. So stay tuned for some crazy adventures. Between my weak stomach (crazy-bad motion sickness) and Daylin's habit of striking up conversations with crazy stangers, the trip should be complete gong show!

Dad is still worried!! The Yukon or PEI would have been a better choice for a trip!
